Club History

In March of 1991, Keith & Pam Zanone,  Dave & Carol Goodrich, and Eric Steinman gathered about forty Mopar lovers together to see about forming a Mopar club. That was the first meeting of what has now become the Mid-Ohio Mopars.

We are a Daimler-Chrysler Corporation registered club and are based in Wooster, Ohio.  We are dedicated to the restoration and preservation of Chrysler products. Mid-Ohio Mopars is a family-oriented, non-profit club.  Each individual member having his or her preference to the model and/or year gives us a unique collection of classic, antique, and high performance Mopars to share with everyone. We are an age-diversified group including people in their early 2O's to the Golden Buckeyes. We are built on a no alcohol, no drugs premise. Our membership has more than doubled since we began and is open to all those who own or admire Mopars.

We hold two events each year, an all-Mopar swap meet in April  and our all-Mopar car show in July. The success of our swap meets and shows has allowed us to contribute nearly $45,000 to area charitable organizations like Camp Quality Ohio, Ronald McDonald House, The Salvation Army, Wayne County Care Center, Hospice, Boy Scout Troop15 and Cheerleader groups to name a few.

Mid-Ohio Mopars welcomes anyone as a member who has an interest in MOPARS.  By attending three club meetings or functions you can choose to be voted in as a member.  The three meetings allows you the opportunity to decide if our club is for you.  We encourage our members to be "active" members, meaning we like our members to participate in our meetings and events.  We work hard but have a lot of fun hosting our events and we hope you enjoy them too.
